Hours, pickup, lead times, allergens, and how ordering works at our Sugar Land bakery.
Where is Happy Cake located?
Happy Cake is at 350 Promenade Way, Suite 500, Sugar Land, TX 77478, in Sugar Land, TX, in the Houston metro near Sugar Land Town Square. We're a sit-down cake bakery and cafe — come in for a slice and coffee, or pick up a whole cake you ordered ahead.
What are your hours?
We're open 11 AM to 7 PM Central, Tuesday through Sunday, and closed on Mondays. Pickups are scheduled inside those hours — we can't take Monday pickups, so plan whole-cake orders for Tuesday through Sunday.
Do you offer delivery, or is it pickup only?
It's pickup only at our Sugar Land location right now. We don't deliver and we aren't on any delivery app yet — we're working on delivery and hope to launch it soon. Until then, every order is picked up in store.
How much notice do you need for a whole cake?
Cake slices are ready the same day — just walk in. Signature whole cakes need about 24 hours' notice so we can bake them fresh. Custom decorated cakes need 3 days (72 hours) plus a short consultation to lock in the design.
Do you make custom cakes, and what do they cost?
Yes — birthdays, weddings, Eid, Diwali, Lunar New Year, quinceañeras and more. Custom cakes start at $65, need a 3-day lead time, and require a quick consultation plus owner approval so we get the design, size, and price exactly right.
How do I pay?
We use Square for secure checkout. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay through the payment link we send, or pay in store. Your online order is confirmed once the payment goes through; we hold your slot while you pay.
What's the difference between a slice and a whole cake?
Slices are single servings from our display case, ready the same day with no notice — perfect for a treat with coffee. Whole cakes serve a group, are baked to order with about 24 hours' notice, and can be customized for an occasion.
What about allergies?
Please tell us about any allergies before ordering. All of our cakes are made in a facility that also processes nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, and soy, so we can't guarantee any cake is allergen-free. We'll always flag your note for the team.
